So-called "scholar" said to Anne:
Your stupidity lies not in the fact of the matter but that of rashly ignoring...
YOUR stupidity is apparent by the fact that you won't answer my questions. If you are such a brilliant "Bible scholar" then answer the questions.

Marc, thank you for your input. It is most appreciated. According to Catholic doctrine, does man have a will with which to accept or reject God's grace? Or, is the Church more Calvinist in its perspective? Does She teach that works are an extension of salvation - evidence of spiritual growth - or that works are a necessary part of obtaining salvation?

Thank you both for your input. Some more questions - if I may.
Would it be considered a sin to eat meat on Friday, where it is forbidden, or is the whole issue a matter of good practice? It is a good thing to do, but God understands if you don't. As I understand Catholic doctrine, one must work to earn the grace of God - please correct me if I am wrong. Does this make meat-on-Fridays a salvation issue?
A couple of years back, the Bishop in Boston indeed allowed corned beef on St. Pat's on a Friday.

"Scholar", If you are such an expert on the Bible, why are you ducking my questions?? I most honestly wish to know how you can prove it from the Bible alone.

$aving the WTB&TS
by Scully inas i was flipping through some magazines in the check out line today, it dawned on me that the wts could very well save itself.. it claims that the watchtower and awake!
magazines are the most widely circulated journals in the world.
so why the hell are they not capitalizing on this popularity by selling advertising space in the magazines?
-
Mad Dawg
The reason they don't sell advertising space is that the ragazines are already filled 100% with adverts for the WTS.

Scholar has said that the Bible alone proves 607 and that Faruli is gravy. I have been waiting for a year now for Scholar to step up to the plate. For all his bluster, he is just a windbag.

You're right. We should keep our troops home and let everyone else kill each other. I am tired of being the world's policeman. Let the Serbs kill the Bosnians or the Jews nuke the Palistinians. Why should I care?
